On Saturday, Sally and Robert were married at St Margaret's Church in Betley, Cheshire. I'd been looking forward to this wedding for so long and it was worth the wait! Betley is just ten minutes away from Nantwich where I am based and is one of the prettiest villages I know. The wedding celebrations took place in a marquee in the field next to Sally's parent's home and where she has many happy childhood memories with her horse and walking the family dogs. It was a beautiful day all round and I just loved the bride and groom portraits. It was very windy up in the field after the ceremony and the bride's dress flowed beautifully. I'm not sure exactly why (could be Sally's prettiness and her gorgeous dress, the groom's brooding good looks and the stunning English countryside perhaps?) but the romance of Pride & Prejudice came to mind here and turns out is one of English teacher Sally's favourite novels. There is so much more to say about this beautiful wedding but that will have to wait for the full blog post later.
Congratulations Sally & Robert. Here are just a few from your day.
