Here are a few more images from Kirsty and Carl's fun engagement session from a few weeks ago. They travelled all the way from Surrey for their engagement shoot and to stay in Cheshire to celebrate their fourth anniversary of togetherness. I hadn't realised it at the time but although born and bred in Surrey, Kirsty's family hail from Cheshire so their stay in Cheshire and their engagement session had a special meaning. After months of wet and windy weather, we headed up to the Sandstone Trail near Peckforton Castle. We were blessed with gorgeous sunshine and I was able to capture them in all different types of light which was just a dream for me! Their session was filled with fun and laughter and we had such fun capturing one of their renowned 'jump' shots - apparently a tradition wherever they go!
Kirsty has followed my work since we were on a photography course together and I remember her stating that if she ever got married she would love my style of photography. Both Kirsty and Carl are keen photographers themselves so it was both exciting and a little daunting when Carl popped the question and I was asked if I would photograph their wedding for them. So in less than a couple of months, I head down to Surrey to photograph what I know is going to be an amazing barn wedding. So looking forward to a day that is going to be just like them - gorgeous, relaxed and fun-filled! Can't wait!
